Tiagini makes knitwear from Mongolian yak wool and cashmere. Every piece is knitted in Mongolia from Mongolian yarn, and every label states what the piece is made of, in percent.
Beautiful things for ordinary days
We do not make things for special occasions. We make the jumper you reach for on a cold Tuesday, the scarf that lives by the door, the socks you wear at home. Pieces with a plain cut and a soft surface, made of one material, so you know exactly what you are wearing.
Where the fibre comes from
Mongolia has one of the coldest winters on earth. Temperatures stay below minus thirty for weeks. The animals that live there outdoors, cashmere goats and yaks, grow a fine, dense underdown to survive it. That underdown is our raw material.
In spring, when the down loosens, herding families comb it out by hand. It is then sorted, washed and spun into yarn in Mongolia. Nothing is blended in: our cashmere is 100% cashmere, and our yak pieces are 100% yak wool.
How it is made
Our pieces are knitted by a family-owned factory in Mongolia. The yarn comes from Mongolian fibre, and the knitting and finishing happen in the same country. We keep the range small and the construction honest: ribbed cuffs that hold, seams that sit flat, no decoration that would wear out before the fabric does.
What you can count on
- The composition is stated on every label and on every product page, in percent by weight.
- VAT and duties are included in the price. Nothing to pay at the door.
- Tracked delivery, and 14 days from delivery to change your mind.
- A cashmere comb comes with every garment, so the first pills are easy to remove.
